In this episode, Dead Inside Podcasts welcomes Singaporean/Melbourne-based producer and DJ Night Dives to deliver his interpretation of a post apocalyptic landscape.
Night Dives explores aural intimacies and sonic environments. Using a blend of organic and synthetic mediums with various processing methods to experiment on creating a space within sound.
Often reinventing himself through his constant exploration for unique sounds, Night Dives delivers an eclectic style to his music and DJ sets. His releases on Eternal titled “Odd Bloom” and on Infinite Machines “IM061” are a testament to his adoration for intricate sound design and aural-traversing storytelling.
Apart from his personal production project, the artist has played gigs in several spaces around Singapore, Australia and Shanghai for reputable events like Asia Topa and LEFAG . He also co-runs the audio visual collective Nonform alongside TZECHAR where they have organised experimental audio visual raves exploring the senses as people engage with music.
The mix is an exploration in a future where mass surveillance and no privacy is rampant in society.
